Julian Owens_Managing Partner.png

Julian Owens, PhD, MPH

Julian  Owens founded HERE’S L.I.F.E. 2020 AD. LLC [a.k.a. LIFE 20/20] in December 1999. Dr. Owens is responsible for the development and implementation of corporate strategy, policies, and procedures at the company. He is also is the leader responsible for assuring high-quality contract performance, continuous corporate growth, and superior customer satisfaction. Dr. Owens serves on the Executive Leadership Team and Co-Director of the Behavioral Health Services Division. He has been instrumental in crafting LIFE 20/20’s unique business model and conveying this model externally to business and community stakeholders. In addition to being Managing Partner, he is an Adjunct Professor, author of several peer-reviewed publications on adolescent behavioral health highlighting his depth of knowledge in implementation science and evaluation research. Dr. Owens presents regularly on cultural competence and innovations in teaching and learning at academic conferences and community forums, domestically and internationally.

Dr. Owens earned his BA in Psychology from Morehouse College, MPH in Health Policy and Management from The University of Michigan, and PhD in Teaching and Learning, with advanced training in Health Promotion, Education and Behavior, from the University of South Carolina. He also has a certificate in Drug and Addiction Studies from the University of South Carolina. Dr. Owens completed his post-doctoral training in adolescent mental health at Johns Hopkins University, Bloomberg School of Public Health, in the Department of Mental Health, with research appointments in the Centers for Adolescent Health and Youth Violence Prevention.

Anthony Bolling, MA

Mr. Bolling leads the Consulting Division, bringing over 22 years of experience as a Curriculum Development Manager. Tony has a proven history of business success across multiple industries and is highly skilled in Course Design and Development, Learning Management, and Educational Technology. Additionally, he has considerable knowledge and a strong foundation in learning principles theory, practices, and processes, having earned a MA in Educational Technology. Tony provides strategic advice in the design and development of custom learning products and process solutions to address client’s specific business, skill, or functional requirements. He is a Six Sigma certified expert in Quality and Process Reengineering and has developed strategies for measuring the effectiveness and impact of numerous custom learning programs, on behalf of clients. 

Tony regularly partners with leaders in the public and private sectors to identify, analyze, and prioritize process-reengineering opportunities, including determining client requirements and subsequent learning objectives and teaching strategies. Tony is a valued advisor when it comes to working with Subject Matter Experts to develop training content to support staff training plans, including the implementation of a Virtual Learning Center. Tony is also a valued expert when it comes to Performance Support for Intranet training courses.

Wallace GreenE, B.SC, BBA

Mr. Greene leads the Business Development and Strategic Partnerships Division. As a member of the Executive Leadership Team, Wallace brings significant expertise in the field of hi-tech. Wallace’s leadership helps to broker our clients’ understanding of firm’s unique approach judicious use of technology to optimize social impact, emphasizing the use of accurate, credible, and reliable information, and responsible use. Under Wallace’s leadership, curated events, signature products, and behavioral health services reflect our integrated model of health, education, technology and lifestyle. His experience in the private sector positions him to provide strategic advice on topics such as corporate responsibility, diversity and inclusion, and other executive business matters.  

 Wallace has successfully led domestic and international teams for Fortune 50 corporations and other businesses, providing technical expertise in engineering, business and product optimization and management, finance, and IT infrastructure & design. Among Wallace’s many contributions to the Firm is his "passion-perspective" – which is centered on improving the human condition via the power of knowledge, and the power of our untapped capacity to focus on things that matter... yielding optimized results.

Juliet Jones, Ed.D, MBA, MA

Dr. Jones leads our Arts Integration Division focusing on curriculum, instruction, and enrichment. She is  the firm’s executive liaison to clients in the Caribbean and West Indies. Dr. Jones plays a pivotal role in the curation of events, design of products, adaptation of programs, and the delivery of services internationally. She brings significant experiences as a curriculum coordinator, providing supervision and leadership in instruction design for English language learners, as it relates to reading and reading comprehension. Dr. Jones develops professional development training materials, as well as creates and evaluates examination materials. She also supervises, monitors, and evaluates curriculum implementation in consultation with LIFE 20/20 consultants and client partners.  

 Dr. Jones brings considerable knowledge and talent in event curation, having directed and produced several dramatic performances with young people over many years. In addition to her Doctor of Education in Creative Education, she holds an MBA in Leadership, Entrepreneurship and Innovation, a M.Ed in Reading, and B.A. in English/Behavioral Science. She has a Postgraduate Diplomas in Education and Teaching of English. Juliet is certified in teaching Shakespeare, Drama/Theater-in-Education and trained in The Craft of Visual & Dramatic Writing.

Julie Kind, BA

Ms. Kind leads the Marketing and Communications Division. Julie’s background includes creating stable brand messaging and marketing communications platforms for the largest financial services companies in the United States and other Fortune 50 global corporations. On behalf of clients, she has directed large-scale conferences, trade shows, educational events, user group events and special events that attracted VIPs, CEOs, vendors from the industry’s most notable financial institutions and FinTech companies. 

 Julie drives client success through custom B2B marketing campaigns, managing strategic collaborations with business owners, and corporate decision-makers, creative teams, product development teams, customers, and alliance members. Her forward-thinking strategies influence the highest level of organizational leadership with more skills and strengths to name than space to fill. As Executive Advisor, Julie utilizes her knowledge and skill as a highly effective relationship manager, trusted advisory, cultivator, collaborator, and communicator who contributes to synergistic change on multiple levels, and motivates individuals to achieve competence. She leads teams in providing technical expertise in contracts, marketing and communications, project and vendor management and negotiation. Additionally, she has superb sales skills and leads teams in designing, launching, and managing  brands, providing expertise in creating demand, marketing and launching new campaigns.

Jarrod Lockhart, Ed.d

Dr. Lockhart leads the Community Partnerships and Outreach Division, bringing more than 18 years of education program development and training expertise.  His educational background includes degrees in the behavioral and learning sciences, as well as advanced training in leadership and organizational change. Jarrod has worked with K-12 teachers, university faculty, students of all ages and stages of their career, parents and guardians and community stakeholders fostering relationships and programs to support their educational, health and general wellness needs. He utilizes his considerable grants administration experience to manage multi-million-dollar grants and contracts from federal funders and private investors. 

 Jarrod’s contributions to LIFE 20/20 include providing direction and oversight for all program implementation and ensuring alignment of clients’ mission and goals with those of the Firm. As a member of the Executive Leadership Team, Jarrod assists clients in defining project scope, goals, and deliverables, as well as planning, administering, reviewing, and evaluating all activities related to the Firms’ community partnerships and outreach activities. He works with clients to co-curate events highlighting the benefits of arts-infused health education, and in delivering consulting services for academic, government, corporate and community-based organizations of all sizes.

William Smith, PhD, M.M.

Dr. Smith is Senior Advisor to the CEO on all matters related to creative arts programming bringing over twenty five years of experience as an active musician, producer, composer, author and Professor of music technology. He has released nine albums and several singles as a solo artist and with his group, The W.E.S. Group. Dr. Smith is also a published author (Hip Hop as Performance and Ritual, How to Be an MC, Jazz as a Language, Making Money in the Music Business, Compose & Produce Music Like a Pro). W.E.S. brings an extensive background to the Executive Team as a thought leader in art-infused curriculum, instruction and enrichment having taught students of all ages, in formal and informal learning settings. Additionally, he has designed and taught music and ethnomusicology courses at the university level. His background includes being a music industry coordinator and jazz ensemble director.

Also known as W.E.S., Dr. Smith records and performs with Gospel, Jazz, and World Artists domestically and internationally. When not performing, he is an avid composer, having written music for TV and film including the Steve Harvey Show, Jimmy Kimmel Show, and Bravo’s Real Housewives.
