LEVEL 1
- Discuss the difference of being educated and being “schooled”. 
- Discuss common problems of public education. 
- Discuss key tenants of Amos Wilson’s philosophy on education, schooling, and intelligence. 
LEVEL 2 [Grade 9]
Participants will able to:
- Discuss the shifts over time in education policies and practices, from slavery, reconstruction, civil rights up through present day. 
- Discus how education has traditionally been tied to wealth, and how that has changed over time. 
- Discuss social determinants of health, wealth, and wellness. 
LEVEL 3 [Grade 10]
Participants will be able to:
- Present facts supporting the historical purpose of public schooling in the U.S., key historical events, and factors contributing to the present dilemma in public education.
